SWEDISH ROCK JUGGERNAUTS ECLIPSE

ANNOUNCE FIRST-EVER AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE TOUR

Featuring special guests White Widdow and Audio Reign Swedish rock juggernauts Eclipse bring electrifying hard rock, world-class musicianship, and irresistibly catchy hooks to Australia for their first-ever headline tour this May.

The Stockholm heavy rock powerhouse has been making increasingly larger waves on the European and American rock scene, with stream counts in the hundreds of millions and tours ranging from South America to Japan. Festival-goers at Wacken, Alcatraz, and Summer Breeze will already know what Australian audiences are about to discover - Eclipse is a force to be reckoned with.

At its core, Eclipse is a hard rock band with massive hooks and an appeal that transcends genres. The band has opened for Aerosmith, My Chemical Romance, and Def Leppard, establishing themselves as one of melodic hard rock's most essential acts.

The tour follows the September 2024 release of Megalomanium II, which has been praised as possibly their best album yet. Lead singer Erik Mårtensson explains: "If you thought the title of our previous record was proof of us suffering from delusions of grandeur then you're absolutely right. The only way we could top it was to make another one. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you, Megalomanium Part II."

Guitarist Magnus Henriksson adds: "This band is on a continuous journey trying to find new avenues to explore. Having said that, Megalomanium Part II is probably closer to what people mostly associate Eclipse with. It's filled to the brim with large choruses, beautiful melodies and some amazing guitar playing. I'm totally unbiased by the way.

"The Australian tour also marks the live debut of new drummer Adde Moon, formerly of Hardcore Superstar, adding another dimension to Eclipse's already formidable live show. The band is rounded out by bassist, Victor Crusner.

Eclipse last appeared in Australia at Glamfest in 2023, but this marks their first full headline tour of the country - an event fans of European melodic hard rock won't want to miss.

Joining Eclipse on all dates are Melbourne's White Widdow, Australia's premier melodic rock export. Formed in 2008 and centered around the Millis brothers Jules (vocals) and Xavier (keyboards) with guitar virtuoso Enzo Almanzi, White Widdow stormed onto the global melodic rock scene with their self-titled debut in 2010. Their follow-up Serenade received 9/10 ratings in both Classic Rock and Powerplay magazines and a 94% score on melodicrock.com. The bands shows in Australia are few and far between, making these shows a rare treat for fans of the genre.

Opening all shows are Adelaide's hard rock powerhouse, Audio Reign, who have created an inimitable Australian rock sound with their ARIA-charting album The Perfect Sea. The band has supported international acts including Skillet and Pop Evil and were the first Australian band to grace the cover of US-based Highwire Daze Magazine. With driving heavy guitars, soaring melodic vocals, and an unstoppable rhythm section, Audio Reign deliver what critics call "a lethal combination of razor sharp musicianship and blisteringly catchy anthems."

With three exceptional acts delivering everything from melodic anthems to hard-hitting heavy rock, these shows will be one of the must-see rock events of 2025.
